Subject: FTP/Gopher pages w/ multiple proxies
We run two proxy servers: an internal one the users interact with and
an external one which actually connects to internet hosts. A pretty
simple setup that look like:
Internal WAN <-> wwwgate0 <-> wwwgate1 <-> Internet
Unfortunately, I have had to turn directory icons off via the DirShowIcons
directive. The icons generated by the server where, naturally, of
the form http://wwwgate1.mot.com/.../. Our users do not have a route
to wwwgate1 and this is therefore a problem.
As the address is a mot.com address client systems will try to
connect to the server directly and not go through the proxy because
of the setup of no_proxy. So using a Map directive on wwwgate0
will not fix things either.
Without hacking the code is there a way to change the path to the
icons? Am I missing some magic directive that actually modifies
URLs *within* fetched documents? What about a directive that
changes the URL to the icons?
Thanks,
-Mike
