Subject: gopher/ftp icons lost via proxy

Hi Folks

I really think that I had this working. But then I made what I
thought was a minor change, and now I've lost it. Argh. Here's the
problem.

Running Cern httpd 3.0pre6. Gopher URL's are trying to search on the
remote gopher site for the internal icons. For example, following a
gopher URL to gopher.cs produces lines such as the following from
httpd in verbose mode:

HTAccess.... Loading document gopher://gopher.cs.cornell.edu/httpd-internal-icons/directory.xbm
HTGopher.... Looking for `gopher://gopher.cs.cornell.edu/httpd-internal-icons/directory.xbm'

Of course attempts to load this document will prove unsuccessful.
What it really wants is

/httpd-internal-icons/directory.xbm

or

http://www.cs.cornell.edu/httpd-internal-icons/directory.xbm

I have not come up with a Map or Pass rule to help the situation.
Once again, I am sure that it wasn't doing this just a short while
ago. That'll teach me for not saving a copy of my conf file before
making "trivial" changes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks -- Harry
