Subject: Complex Protection for Proxy...
I wish to set up a CERN Proxy Server (Version 3.0) and I wish to restrict
access to this server using a proxy protection mechanism (via IP Addresses)
So I have set up the main config file to include a line like:
Protect * /Full Path to Protection Spec File
And now the Protection Setup file currently contains something like:
UserId nobody
GroupId nogroup
ServerId TANSU-Proxy
AuthType Basic
Mask @(IPAddress1,IPAddress2,.........,IPAddressn)
Now the problem is that the number of entries in this Mask specification
is getting pretty large. I was wondering is there some line limit for
this line or is there some method for splitting this specification over a
number of lines. I tried using something like:
Mask @(IPAddress1)
Mask @(IPAddress2)
..
Mask @(IPAddressn)
But this did not work.
Any Suggestions?
Thanks,
Rodney...
